Kareem Soufi

Director of Government Partnerships for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Coursera, USA.

In his role, Karim works closely with governments across the region to develop national upskilling programs aimed at workforce transformation and economic growth.

He is a Fellow at The Royal Society for Arts (UK), where he also serves in the Innovative Education network.

Previously, Kareem spent 11 years at EF Education First, where he held several positions across multiple countries, most recently as Regional Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in London, where he led several educational programs covering diverse geographies.

Prior to that, he worked at Bayt.com, advising government entities and major businesses on their human capital strategies.

Kareem has founded and co-founded several initiatives and has been an active member of various working groups focused on education and employment.

He has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Global Changemaker.

He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
