Minister of State for General Education Affairs since February 2016, United Arab Emirates. 

She has been the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates College for Advanced Education since October 8, 2020. She has been a member of both the Ministerial Development Council and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai since 2006. 

She has held several positions, including: Head of the School Inspection Bureau at the same authority, Executive Director of the Private Education Sector at the Dubai Education Council, and Executive Director of Dubai Knowledge Village between 2004 and 2007. 

She also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Cares Foundation, Deputy Director of the Private Education Department at the Ministry of Education between 1995 and 2004, Deputy Director of the Educational Guidance Department, and Head of the Technical Guidance Department at the same ministry. 

She is the first Emirati woman to hold the position of Minister of State for Public Education, and has won several awards, including the Khalifa Educational Award. 

She has more than 20 years of experience in educational administration and education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management in 1990 from the United Arab Emirates University in the Emirates.
