He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Emirates Theatre Association" since 2007, Director of the "Arab Theatre Festival" since 2009, Chairman of the "Emirates University Theatre Festival" since 2010, Member of the Board of Trustees of the "Sharjah Academy of Performing Arts" since January 2020, and Member of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the "Sharjah Theatre Days" since 2007. Founder of the "Khorfakkan Popular Theatre Troupe" in 1979, and contributed to the establishment of both the "Free Theatre at the United Arab Emirates University" in 1981, and the "Vanguard Theatre in Khorfakkan" in 1986. He held several positions in "Abu Dhabi TV", including: Broadcaster and Program Producer in 1985, then Senior Broadcaster in 1989, Deputy Director between 1994 and 1996, then Director of Television between 1997 and 2001, until he was appointed Director of "Abu Dhabi Radio" between 2001 and 2003. He was the director of the "Second Gulf Theater Festival for People with Disabilities" in 2011, a member of the advisory committee of the "Dubai Youth Theater Festival" during 2008, 2009, and 2010, a member of the permanent committee of the civil theater groups affiliated with the "Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf", and a member of the administrative body of the "Abu Dhabi Theater". He wrote many theatrical texts, including: "Oh Ya Mal Play", "The Owl Shepherd Aberni Play", "The Time of Kerosene Play", "The Night of the Spider's Murder Play", "The Remains of Wounds Play", "My Master, My Master", "The People of Antar Play", "Between Two Days Play", "The Scream Play", "The Explosion of the Greatest Wedding Play", and many others. He also has several television series such as: "The Rooster's Egg", "If I Knew My End", in addition to a number of radio series including: "Ghorba Bela Unwan", "Al Tayyar", and "Marasi Al Aman". His cinematic works include: "The Balance" and "The Forgotten" film. He has also won many awards for his works, including: "Sharjah Award for Playwriting in 2005 for the play "The Night of the Spider's Murder", "First Prize in the Sharjah Playwriting Competition for the play "Explosion", "Best Play Text Award at the 21st Sharjah Theatre Days Festival for the play "The Sandal War", and "Best Play Text Award at the Gulf Cooperation Council Theatre Festival in Abu Dhabi in 2003 for the play "I Choked on You, May", and he also won an award for his films "The Balance" and "The Forgotten" at the "Gulf Film Festival in Dubai", and many others. He has been honored at many festivals, such as: "The 15th Damascus Theatre Festival", "The Jordanian Theatre Festival", "The Baqaa International Theatre Festival in Sudan", and "The First Minya International Children's Theatre Festival". He was also chosen as the local theatrical festival personality at the 25th Sharjah Theatre Days. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and Public Administration from the United Arab Emirates University in 1985.
