Iman Al-Jabri

Emirati lawyer and policewoman.

She is a lecturer and faculty member at the Police College, and a police officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Ministry of Interior.

She worked as an investigation officer in various Abu Dhabi Police stations, where she was considered the first woman to work as an investigator and lecturer in the Abu Dhabi Police. She was also the Director of the Education Branch and Head of the Women's Police Training and Rehabilitation Center. She also engaged in scientific research as a researcher and member of the Scientific Coordination Committee at the Center for Security Research and Studies, and as a lecturer at the Institute of Criminal Sciences and the Police School for Drugs.

She has numerous publications and written works, and has received numerous certificates of appreciation, including the “Medal of Loyalty to Service,” the “International Training Day 2000 and 2003,” the “Rashid Award for Outstanding Achievers 2004,” the “First Class Appreciation Award for Academic Excellence 2004,” and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Secretary-General of the Office of the Minister of Interior. Her name was also included as an innovator in the “Innovators from the Emirates” encyclopedia, as part of the “Sheikha Shamsa bint Suhail Award for Innovative Women,” in which she participated with an initiative entitled “Compulsory Education in the United Arab Emirates.”

She won the Law Award for 2015 at the Arab Women Awards 2015 launch dinner, held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the Dubai International Financial Centre .

She obtained a PhD in Criminal Law in 2002 from Alexandria University , a Master's degree in Legislative Combating of Drugs in 1999 from the same university, and a Diploma in Law in 2007.
