Member of the Board of Directors of “ Dubai Investment Company ” since June 3, 2020, United Arab Emirates. He was a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai , a member of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation , and a speaker at the World Government Summit in 2017 in the Emirates. He joined Dubai Municipality in 1985, and held many positions, including: Acting Director General between 2009 and 2018, Acting Director General between 2006 and 2009, Deputy Director General and Assistant Director General for Planning and Building Affairs between 2004 and 2005, and Assistant Director General for Environment and Health Affairs. General, Director of the Sanitation Department, and Assistant Head of Department. He also chaired several committees in the Dubai Municipality , such as the Technical Committee, the Strategic Plan and E-Government Committee, the Personnel Affairs Committee, and organizational committees for a number of conferences organized by the municipality. He contributed to the establishment of the “ Emirates Society of Engineers ” and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors between 1992 and 1996. He also worked in the “Emirates Ministry of Electricity and Water” between 1980 and 1985. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1980 from the University of Arizona in the United States of America.
