He is a senior news anchor on Al-Hadath Channel, which part of Al Arabiya network.

On December 8, 2024, Alshiekh announced on Al-Hadath channel the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime with his famous phrase: “It is Six Eighteen am Damascus time... Syria is without Bashar al-Assad.”

Alshiekh was born in Syria, and before joining Al-Hadath Channel, he worked with Al-Sharqiya TV in Iraq.

He has many articles published on "Al Ain News Platform".

Alshiekh participated in many forums, the most recent of which was the “Arab Media Forum” held in Dubai in 2023, where he moderated the “Arab Information Ministers Dialogue” session.
