Hassan Jassim Al Nuwais

Group CEO & Managing Director of M42 , UAE.

He is the Chairman of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi , Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Yas Holding Group and Chairman of the Yas Holding Healthcare Committee.

Prior to M42, Hassan Al Nowais was CEO of Mubadala Healthcare , where he played a role in launching Mubadala Healthcare as a standalone entity and growing an integrated network of leading healthcare facilities within its portfolio. His focus was on improving the patient experience, pursuing innovative solutions, leading collaborations across the healthcare sector, and building global partnerships to improve clinical outcomes.

Al Nowais joined Mubadala Investment Company in 2007, where he was responsible for overseeing global hospitality projects in the United States, the Middle East and other parts of Asia. Projects included luxury brands such as Viceroy Hotel Group, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.

Al Nowais also held the position of Chief Administrative Officer at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he managed the operational aspects of various strategic functions at the hospital.

In April 2023, Forbes Middle East ranked him among the top ten in the “Middle East Healthcare Leaders List” for the second year in a row.

Hassan Al Nowais graduated from the American University in Washington, and holds several degrees, including one from Cornell University and another from Harvard Medical School.
