Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Gulf Capital Company ”, United Arab Emirates. He has been an advisor in the office of the Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority since 2015, and Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee of the same entity since 2011. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Investment Authority since June 10, 2020. He held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates between December 16, 2018 and July 16, 2020. He joined the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in 1976 and is considered one of the early founders, as he was responsible for the Global Equities and Bonds Department between 1976 and 1987, then became Director of the European Equities and Bonds Department and the Global Private Equity Department between 1987 and 1998, after which he assumed the executive management of the Private Equities Department until 2015.
