He is author of the book Change; How to challenge yourself before the world challenges you, published in 2023 by Harvard Business Review Arabia.
He is also a professional author, media trainer and speaker at international and regional media and business conferences. He is a recipient of several media awards from institutions like “Thomson Reuters” and “Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism”, and worked as a judge in the Dubai Journalism Award and the Best Arab Investigations Awards with ARIJ.
He also participated in many fellowships with the International Monetary Fund, Northwestern University and the Swedish Television. He co-wrote the Media Verification Handbook published by the European Media Centre. He is a member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).
He served as the editor-in-chief of “Harvard Business Review Arabia” published by Majarra, and the managing editor and trainer at the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ).
He was a researcher and correspondent for HSI International Hate Speech in Norway, and supervisor of the Cross Border Investigative Journalism Project with the Fojo Media Institute in Sweden.
He holds a master's degree in media and communication from the University of Damascus, and a diploma from the Higher Institute for Specialization in Management, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Cordoba.
