Hamad bin Salmeen Al Suwaidi

Emirati journalist and writer. He retired from work in 2024 after holding the position of parliamentary expert in the General Secretariat of the Federal National Council of UAE, and before that he was Director of the Parliamentary Division and Media Speaker since 2010.and a member of both the Journalists Association and the Dubai Press Club . He worked at the Emirati newspaper Al Bayan between 1997 and 2010, progressing through the journalistic ranks from trainee editor to senior editor, then editorial secretary, head of the local affairs department, and managing editor of local affairs. He holds a certificate of achievement in the Media Leadership Program from the Dubai School of Government. He holds a postgraduate diploma from the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences in Cairo, and a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy in 1996 from the University of Denver in the United States of America.
