Ghaith Al Ghaith

CEO of Flydubai since 2008, United Arab Emirates.

He began his career at Emirates Airlines in 1986 as a management trainee, then he was appointed Deputy Director of Passenger Sales in the Emirates in 1988, then he became Deputy Director of Development and External Marketing in 1989, and in 1991 he was appointed Director of the United Kingdom and Ireland region, followed by his appointment as General Manager of Operations. Commercial operations in Europe and North America in 1993, then commercial director of Middle East, Africa and Commonwealth operations in 1994. He also worked as executive vice president of global commercial operations between 1995 and 2008.

Al Ghaith won the “Best CEO Award for 2021” at the “Aviation Achievement Awards” distribution ceremony, and the “Best CEO Award in the Aviation Sector” in 2018 at the “Middle East CEO Awards,” in addition to the “Leadership Award” from the “Conference “Arab Hotel Investment” in 2017.

CEO Middle East magazine also awarded him the title of “Best Airline CEO of 2017” and “Best CEO in the Aviation Sector for 2009”.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in the United States of America.
