George Obaji

A Lebanese businessman of Syrian origin, who died in a plane crash in October 2014. Obaji is the youngest son of businessman Bechara Obaji, and he is the grandson of Yordan Obaji, who came from Aleppo to Lebanon after the nationalization of Syria and established a commercial, industrial and banking empire. He owns 10 shares in the company, at 1%, worth 10,000 Syrian pounds. He is a founding partner in the “Agricultural Development Company” in the Syrian Arab Republic. He owns 103,237.63 shares in the company, or 74.5%, worth 103,237,630 Syrian pounds. He is a founding partner in the “Obaji Detergents Company” in the Syrian Arab Republic, and owns 2,000 shares in the company, at a rate of 20%, with a value of 1,000,000 Syrian pounds.
