Fatima Ahmed Al Kaabi

An Emirati family educational consultant and specialist. She has been the Head of the Social Care and Child Protection Unit in the School Operations Sector at the Ministry of Education since 2018 in the United Arab Emirates, and a member of the jury of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance in the Distinguished Student category. She is also a member of the Family Advisory Council , the Arab Creators Union, the Emirates Writers and Authors Union , the Emirates Association for Talented People , the Arab Council for the Gifted and Talented in Jordan, and the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program. She held the position of Head of the Special Education and Psychological Social Care Services Team at the Abu Dhabi Education Council between 2005 and 2017, Head of the Hemmam Program and Psychological, Social and Behavioral Support Services Team at the Educators Without Borders Organization between 2019 and 2020, Director of the Special Abilities Resource Center between 2001 and 2002, and a certified trainer in the administrative and educational field at the Teachers Association. She was also a member of the jury of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance in the category of institutions supporting education between 2011 and 2018, an evaluator of the Ali Bin Harmal Educational Award in 2018, head of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Sahmi Award for Excellence Committee, head of the Student Behavior Management Committee at the Al Ain Education Office between 2013 and 2018, and head of the Special Education, Psychological Care and Social Service Team at the same office between 2011 and 2017. She held several positions in the Ministry of Education , including: General Supervisor of the Educational Support Services Center in the Al Ain Educational Zone, General Supervisor of the Thinking and Creativity Unit in the same zone, Head of the Special Education Department in the Al Ain Educational Zone between 2003 and 2010, Preparer of Enrichment Programs for Gifted Students between 2001 and 2006, Supervisor of Gifted and Talented Programs between 2000 and 2003, Special Education Supervisor between 1998 and 2000, Special Education Teacher between 1993 and 1997, in addition to her work as a columnist for the “Eye of the Emirates Magazine” between 2016 and 2018. She published a book entitled “Educating the Gifted and Talented; Strategies and Applications” in 2007, and participated in preparing and issuing a number of brochures and bulletins in the educational field. She won the "Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Silver Shield" for the Special Needs Integration Project in 2009, second place in the category of centers and institutions in the "Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Childhood Creativity" for the years 2006 and 2009, the "Best Distinguished Head of Department Award in the Al Ain Educational Zone" in 2005, first place in the "School Radio Tape Competition", first place at the ministry level in the "Creativity Competition" in 2003, second place in the "Arabic Language Play Competition at the State Level", and the "Ideal Teacher Certificate". She holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Education, specializing in special education, from the " United Arab Emirates University ", a professional doctorate in psychological counseling and educational guidance in 2016, a professional master's degree in educational leadership in 2013, a professional diploma in quality management and institutional development according to international standards, a certified international trainer certificate, and a certified arbitrator certificate from the "European Foundation for Quality Management".
