Dhafer Ayed Al Ahbabi

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Foah Dates Company , United Arab Emirates. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Union of Industrialists Association” and a member of the Board of Directors of the “Al-Binaa Real Estate Investment Company.” He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the “ Institute of Applied Technology ” and the “Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Care” and Vice Chairman of the Foundation’s Advisory Committee. He chaired the Board of Directors of Agthia Group between April 2014 and April 2020, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Chairman of the Customs and Commercial Arbitration Committee, and a member of the Industry Committee in the same chamber. He joined the General Holding Company “Senaat” in 1992 and held several positions: Engineer in the Planning Department, Director of the Tenders and Contracts Department, General Manager of the Cement Block Factory, General Manager of the Pipes and Bags Factory, Director of the Industrial Zones and Licensing Department, Deputy General Manager, and Consultant. He also worked as director of the “Sheikh Khalifa Industry Award” program and its supervisor between 1997 and 2003, in addition to his work in the oil and gas industries sector at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC”, and his membership in the Arkan Building Materials Company “Arkan” and the “Emirates Steel Company”. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.
