He is the Chairman of the UAE Table Tennis Federation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates International Accreditation Center , Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Food Bank , and a member of the Dubai Free Zones Council , the Dubai Executive Council since March 6, 2024, and the American Society of City Planners. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Center for the Development of the Islamic Economy , and the Society of Engineers.

He is a member of several committees, the most important of which are: the Higher Committee for the Dubai Urban Plan 2020, the Committee for the Allocation of Industrial and Investment Lands in the Municipality, and the Educational Schools Committee.

He has experience in the field of planning, investment and urban development.

In 1993, he was appointed in Dubai Municipality as an engineer in the position of urban planner in the Planning Department. He then held several positions in the same field, including Head of the Planning Department, then Director of the Planning Department, then Assistant Director General of the Municipality for the Engineering and Planning Sector. In addition, he was a former member of the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Club, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Engineers Association.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Building Technology from Eastern University in the United States of America in 1993, and a certificate from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Program for Leadership Development.
