He worked in the Ministry of Justice as a second-class public prosecutor, then was promoted to become an advisor in the Fatwa and Legislation Department, and was then seconded to the office of the technical minister as an advisor. He also assumed the position of head of the Fatwa Department in the Fatwa and Legislation and State Affairs Department in the same ministry.
He ran for the 2015 Federal National Council elections for the Emirate of Ajman.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law from the United Arab Emirates University in 1982 .
