Awad Al-Mar

Chief Information Security Officer at the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) since September 2018, United Arab Emirates. He has been a member of the Dubai Youth Council since February 5, 2019, and Director of Internal and Regulatory Security Support at the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) since November 2016. He served as Director of the Security Department at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR ) between 2013 and 2016, and worked in the Law and Police Applications Department at the Dubai Police between 2012 and 2013, where he held the position of Head of Coordination and Follow-up in the Administration Department between 2010 and 2012. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Sharjah in 2013, and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the Dubai Police Academy in the UAE in 2010.
