Syrian academic and media trainer.

He is a professor of media editing in the Radio and Television Department at the Faculty of Media at Damascus University, and a strategic media advisor at the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism ( ARIJ ) network.

He served as Head of the Radio and Television Department at the Faculty of Media at Damascus University, Director of Training and Qualification at the Syrian Ministry of Information, Media Editing Trainer at the Ministry's Media Preparation Institute, Acting Director General of the Syrian Center for Public Opinion Research, and Advisor to the National Popular Organizations Office in Syria.

He served as editor-in-chief of Investment Horizons Magazine and Echo of Shocks Magazine, published by the Syrian Ministry of Economy. He was also a media expert at the Syrian Society for Environment and Export Promotion.

He has worked as a trainer at the Humanitarian Efforts Center for Training and Development in Jordan, the National Team for the Convention on the Elimination of Violence against Women, the BBC Journalists Training Project in cooperation with the Syrian News Foundation, the Al Jazeera Center for Training and Development, the Skills Training and Development Program under the supervision of the European Union, and the Syrian Revolution Newspaper.

He was a member of the National Youth Strategy Team and the National Committee for Syrian Media, and was a faculty member at the Faculty of Media at Al-Jinan University in Lebanon.

He has published numerous research papers and books, including: "The History of Satire and Sarcasm in the Lebanese Media", "Syrian Immigrant Journalism", "From Influence to Influence: The Shadows of Technology on Sports Journalism and its Performance Methods", "Investigative Journalism", "Game Vocabulary or the Game of Vocabulary: The Impact of Keywords on Framing News Meaning", "Documentary Television Programs Between the Language of Text and the Language of Image", "Media Language: A Reading of Editorial Thought", and "Who Put Arabic Before the Horse? Arab Satellite Channels and the Other Side of Criticism".

He holds a PhD in Media Editing from Cairo University in 2005, a Master's degree in Media from the same university in 2001, and a BA in Journalism from Damascus University in 1993.
