Ahmed Nasser Al Nuwais

Founder and CEO of Annex Investment Company since February 2017, UAE.

He also serves as CEO for the MENA region at AppsCo Inc. since January 2022, a Norwegian technology company specializing in identity management and data protection solutions. He is also the UAE CEO of PriviCore, a cybersecurity company, since February 2022. 

In addition, he acts as an advisor and strategic partner at Bramston & Associates, an international firm specializing in business consulting, risk management, investment, and technology services.

Current memberships in professional associations and councils:

• Member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Angel Investors Association since June 2020.
• Member of the Family Business Council Gulf (FBCG) since May 2019.
• Member of the European Business Angels Network (EBAN) since February 2022.
• Member of the COO Network in the Middle East since March 2020.

Ahmed Al Nuwais has several years of experience in corporate leadership, business development, and startup investment in the MENA region.

Previously, Ahmed founded Trust Middle East Car Rental, a car rental company specializing in providing car rental services to individuals and companies in Abu Dhabi, and served as its CEO  from September 2010 to October 2014.

In addition, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) from 2018 to 2019, a Senior Analyst at the Tawazun Economic Council (Tawazun) from 2014 to 2018, and a Financial Analyst at Ernst & Young (EY) between June 2012 and August 2012.

He was also a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Family Offices Association from October 2022 to January 2024.

Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Law from Panthéon-Assas University in France (2021) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the American University of Sharjah (2013)
