General Manager of Residential Assets, Real Estate & Leasing, Dubai Asset Management, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding , UAE. He is responsible for leading, designing, developing and executing business strategies and operations for the company’s full range of residential assets, including leasing and property management in mid- and high-end residential communities, staff housing and labour accommodation for 15 communities comprising 24,000 units. He has been a Board Member of Union Finance since April 2020, a Member of the Special Assets Committee of Commercial Bank International since 2018, and a Senior Member of the International Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. He held the position of Executive Director of Residential Assets at Dubai Asset Management, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding , and Executive Director of Community and Property Management at the same company. He previously worked at Deyaar Development , heading business development, leasing and landlord relations at the property management company until the end of 2017, after which he became Vice President at the same company and CEO of Deyaar Property Management Company until mid-2019. Prior to joining Deyaar Development , Ahmed worked at Emirates Global Aluminium as a Procurement Manager managing a wide range of services in the field of procurement and supply chain, and before that he worked as a Director of Real Estate and Sales with Gulf Gate Group. He published a book entitled "Real Estate in the Emirates: Endless Investment Opportunities". He holds an MBA in 2020 from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dubai , a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Al Ghurair University , a Diploma in Islamic and Commercial Arbitration from the University of Sharjah , in addition to a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute in the United Kingdom, and a number of administrative and real estate certificates from Harvard Business School.
