He has been a member of the Federal National Council for the Emirate of Sharjah since November 11, 2019, a senior broadcaster and producer at Dubai Sports Channel , and a presenter of the “Al-Manassa Program” on the same channel.

He presented the “Radar Program” on “Dubai Sports Channel”, and held the position of Vice Chairman of the “Sharjah Consultative Council” between 2011 and 2015, and Chairman of the Media and Marketing Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees of the “Sharjah Award for Sports Family” between 2012 and 2014. He also worked as a lecturer at the College of Media and Communication at “University of Al Jazeera” between 2012 and 2014, and as a sports commentator on “Line Sport Channel” in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 2011 and 2013, where he commented on Saudi League matches.

He was a media and marketing consultant at IMG American Company between 2001 and 2003, Secretary General at Al Khaleej Sports Club between 1986 and 1988, Chairman of the Media and Public Relations Committee at Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, and a lecturer and assistant in the field of sports commentary and presenting sports programs at both the Leadership Preparation Center and the United Arab Emirates University. He also worked as a field referee and linesman in many matches for two years.

He held various positions at the Arab Radio and Television Network, including: Head of Arab and International Sports Channels between 1998 and 2010, Vice President of Sports Channels, Director of the Commentators and Broadcasters Department, Regional Director in the UAE and Gulf States, Regional Director in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Sports Broadcaster and Commentator, where he commented on many World Cup Finals matches, including: the 1994 World Cup Final in the United States of America, the 1998 World Cup Final in the French Republic, and the 2002 World Cup Final in Korea and Japan.

He was the first Gulf commentator to commentate on the Nile Sports Channel in the Arab Republic of Egypt, where he commented on the 2010 World Cup Final in South Africa. His professional career as a sports commentator began on Abu Dhabi TV in 1982.

He wrote a book entitled "Sports Commentary: Between Identity and Professionalism."

He received the “Medal for Service to Childhood and Disability Issues” in 2015 from the “Rashid Centre for the Disabled”, the “Minister of Interior Medal for Community Service and Promoting the Humanitarian Role” in 2013, and the “Youth and Sports Medal” in 1987 from the “UAE Olympic Committee”.

He holds a professional master’s degree in sports law in 2018 from the American University in the Emirates, a master’s degree in sports management in 2011 from the University of Corlins in Switzerland, and a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 1986 from the United Arab Emirates University.
