Adel Ali

CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Air Arabia since 2003, United Arab Emirates.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Information Systems Associates - Sharjah”, “Alfa Sharjah Catering Services Company”, “Alfa Aviation Academy”, and “Cosmo Travel”. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of “Air Arabia” with its two branches in Morocco and Egypt.

He served as Vice President of Commercial and Customer Services at Gulf Air . He also worked with British Airways for more than 20 years, during which he held several positions, including: General Manager of the Middle East and North Africa region.

Forbes Middle East ranked him among the list of “The Most Powerful Tourism and Travel Leaders in the Middle East for the Year 2023,” and in 2011 he was named “Business Leader of the Year” by the “Middle East Awards for Excellence in Financial and Accounting Business.” He also won the “Best Award “World Low Cost Airline CEO of the Year 2008” by the “Budget Awards” during the “World Low Cost Airline Conference” in the United Kingdom.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation, strategic planning, tourism and business operations sectors.

He holds a Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration.
