Abdulrahman Balghonaim

Director General of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology since February 2021, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He serves on audit committees for several organizations, such as Communications and Space Technology Commission, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Saudi Space Agency, and Research, Development and Innovation Authority.

He held the position of Director of Internal Audit at Takamul Holding, Director of Internal Audit at Saudi Contractors Authority, and Head of Fraud Investigation at Sadara Chemicals Company. He also held the position of Internal Audit Supervisor at the Saudi Readymix Concrete Company, and Senior Auditor at KPMG.

He was a member of the Audit Committee of the Saudi Post Corporation (Sabil) and the Jubail Chemical Industries Company (Jana).

He holds a BS degree in Accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2006. He also holds Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Risk-Based Auditor (CRBA), and Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard University. He also completed the Ministerial Leadership Development Program from INSEAD.
