Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi

Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Korea since December 2016.

He held many positions in the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, including: General Manager, Director of the Privatization Department, and Consultant. He also chaired the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company .

He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Transmission and Control Company , Al Taweelah Asia Energy Company, Al Wathba Central Services Company, and Al Ain Distribution Company, and was Chairman of the Emirati-Canadian Business Council.

He held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors   "First Energy Bank", Vice President of "National Takaful Company", and Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company " Taqa " between 2010 and 2011, and was a member of the Board of Directors of "Sohar Oman Aluminum Company", and a member of the " Federal Water Authority" . And electricity .”

He served as a member of the Infrastructure Committee of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Strategic Tunnel Project of the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company and Oman Insurance Company , in addition to his work as a senior analyst in the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. 1992 and 1997.

He won the “Person of the Year Award” in the energy sector for the Middle East and North Africa region in 2014, and was also selected among the list of three finalists for the “Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance” in the administrative field in 2009.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1992 from the United Arab Emirates University . He also received training programs in financial management and investment in the United States of America and France between 1992 and 1997.
