Minister of Climate Change and Environment for the period from 5 July 2020 to 25 September 2021, United Arab Emirates. He served as Minister of Infrastructure Development between 2013 and 2020, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme , the Federal Land and Maritime Transport Authority , the Emirates Council for Climate Change and Environment, the National Biosecurity Committee, and Emirates Committee for Environmental Sustainability Research. He worked as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development , Director of Engineering at the General Authority of Civil Aviation , Director of the Water Distribution Department at the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and a visiting professor at the Higher Colleges of Technology . He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority. “And the International Fund for Houbara Conservation,” and a member of the “ Ministerial Development Council ,” and the “ Emirates Tennis Federation .” He holds a doctorate in engineering project management in 1990 from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, a master’s degree in civil engineering in 1986, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1980 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States of America.
