Vice President of Maintenance at Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) since 2016, UAE. He is a Board Member of Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence (Dubai Carbon) . He joined Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL) in 1987 as a graduate trainee at the Carbon Plant and became a Supervisor in 1989 until 1995 when he was promoted to Manager of Anode Plant , after which he assumed responsibilities of the Hot Metal Production Plant. In 2003, he was appointed as General Manager of Smelting Operations, then Vice President of Engineering Expansion in 2008 and responsible for Maintenance, Environment, Health and Safety at DUBAL. He also served as Senior Vice President of Shared Technical Services at EGA between 2014 and 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Physics in 1986 from the United Arab Emirates University .
