Abdulkareem Al Masabi

He has been a Director at the International Chamber of Shipping since August 2023, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Shipping Association since April 2018, a Board Member of the Emirates Classification Society ( TASNEEF ) since September 2021, and a Board Member of the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre since February 2019.

He held several positions at Abu Dhabi Ports Company , including: Executive Vice President of Ports Unit between 2016 and 2018, Vice President of Port Operations between 2014 and 2016, Vice President of Operations for Khalifa Port between 2012 and 2016, and Senior Operations Manager between 2009 and 2012.

He also served as Chairman of Abu Dhabi Ports Company , Operations Controller at Gulf Energy Maritime during 2007, and worked at National Gas Shipping Company Limited, where he was Operations Manager between 2007 and 2009, and Captain between 1999 and 2007.

He holds an Executive Master of Business Administration, specializing in Business Administration, in 2014 from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE, and a Master of Maritime Navigation in 1999 from South Tyneside College in the United Kingdom.
